For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God’s values.
The couple needs to meet with the priest six months to a year before the ceremony. All marriage preparation requirements must be completed in advance of wedding date. After the initial meeting with the priest, a meeting with the Director of Liturgy, Suzan Cox must be scheduled. Contact Suzan Cox at 601-366-2335 ext. 111 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org
Marriage preparation is required by the Jackson Diocese.
