Prayer + Study

God’s Universal Call to Prayer

“For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.”      CCC, no. 2258, citing St. Therese of Lisieux

There are so many opportunities in St. Richard Parish to learn more about the Catholic faith and also to pray quietly on your own or as a community.  The Sunday Adult Education classes (Timely Topics/ Coffee and Creed/ Ladies Bible Study /Parent with small children) are full of interesting topics and chances for discussion, as are the Small Faith Communities (SFC) and RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults).

Here are some of the opportunities to grow in your faith:

  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Centering Prayer
  • Coffee and Creed
  • Ladies Bible Study
