Book Study

A Book Study facilitated by George Evans is offered usually three times a year in the fall, winter and summer.  Books are chosen from diverse fields to stimulate discussion but always have a direct or indirect spiritual enrichment aspect.  Ample notice is given of the particular book and schedule in the bulletin and on the web.  The typical Book Study meets weekly for six weeks but this can vary depending on the book chosen.  Some of the books previously studied include:  John Grisham’s The Innocent Man, Alfred McBride’s The Story of the Church, Robert Barron’s And Now I See and The Strangest Way, James Martin’s The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything, Michael Leach’s Why Stay Catholic and Ronald Rolheiser’s The Holy Longing among others.

Books are purchased by the participants.  All are welcomed.  Please contact George Evans at 601-366-2335 Ext. 106 or
