Perpetual Intercessory Prayer Novena

Intention: that Our Nation Turns Back to God

Thank you for your interest in committing to pray for one hour in one or more of the Perpetual Intercessory Prayer Novenas. The purpose of this series of Novenas is to “pray at all times” _{Eph 6:18}  that our deeply divided Nation turns back to God by having someone praying at each of the 24 hours of each day until at least January 22, 2020.

The concept is simple.  You sign up and pray at and for one specified hour for nine specified days.  For example, you sign up for the 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. time slot for the Novena beginning on January 14, 2021 and ending January 22, 2021.  Every day for those nine days you will pray for one hour starting @ 1:00 p.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m.  The intention of all of your prayers during this hour is that Our Nation Turns Back to God.

Your hour in prayer can be any place of your choosing – at home, in Church or any other place that you normally pray.  The only specific prayer being requested is the Prayer to the Immaculate Conception that will be provided to you and can be found on this web page.

Other than saying the Novena prayer on the card, the hour in prayer can be spent Reading Scripture, praying the rosary, praying the Divine Chaplet, Spiritual Reading, Meditation, etc. 

VERY IMPORTANT… If you cannot make your hour, please get someone to take your place or swap with someone well ahead of time.  This is a perpetual non-stop prayer, and we will be depending on one another to keep it going. 

Following are the Open Novena Dates:

• 7^th Novena: December 18^th thru December 26^th
• 8^th Novena: December 27^th thru January 4^th
• 9^th Novena: January 5^th thru January 13^th
• 10^th Novena: January 14^th thru January 22^nd
